Me & Twitter :) Why to Follow…

This one should be a relax post. I don’t wanna throw at you any phrases from web hosting, or related to web hosting at all. It’s Friday and people should start to think about the weekend and thus why should I scary you with work at this time?

As you might notice in the recent days I have started a small shift of attention to my Twitter account. I have started to post some of the clues and hints I have discussed here at my blog on Twitter, but I also posted there something more, too. It’s always very advantageous to follow my twitter account to don’t miss any of my ideas I might get in the middle of a day :) . Some of them will turn into standalone article at Icethunder.net, but some might not and thus you could miss something.

Rofl, I started to think about another nice hint, that you might find useful in the middle of this article :) A very nice way t find out how good a hosting company is – mainly how responsive they are, could be to follow them trough Twitter. This way you can see how many Tweets they actually did and at the same time you will see how helpful they are, how they deal with customers and much more. It’s only up to you how good you are at reading “between the lines.” You could start to follow 5-10 companies and make Twitter one of the criteries for your final decision. In the recent years Myspace, Facebook and other social community web sites have grown very fast and now they have created a great space of humans and links between them. Sometimes it is hard to imagine there would be no Facebook, Twitter or MySpace. It ‘s because these services have given us the opportunity to connect with friends of our childhood and talk to them even if we have completely changed the city we live in and we have not been in contact with them for a long time. We have even forgotten that some people we once knew even exist now…. This is a the place where social community web site are a great way to find those people and connect not only with current friends, co-workers or family, but with old friends as well.

Well, yo might ask why am I writing a post like this on a blog dedicated to shared web hosting. It’s because many of you will not only start a web site as thing. For many of you this web site will be a mean of communication, a mean to sell something, to generate revenue, to share your thoughts or simply a place to express yourself, but either way you will try to attract the people out there! And this is where social communities can come in handy. You can attract your old friends and give them a link. You can create a fan page for your web site project and more. What you will do and what way you will go is up to you. You can make the decision and because the current state of things is “Social sites” oriented you have a great opportunity to not only to find customers and fans, but also to find old friends and link with them!
